One of the finest of English traditions, afternoon tea is the perfect way to spend your afternoon in enchanting Canterbury. The Falstaff dates back as early as 1403 and has been entertaining visitors to Canterbury for centuries. Relax in the beautifully refurbished lounge (or on the sunny terrace during the summer months) and enjoy a pot of freshly brewed loose-leaf tea from our selection of locally-blended Kent teas. This is accompanied with freshly-baked scones, clotted cream and preserves, and an assortment of homemade cakes and sandwiches.

Afternoon tea is served from midday to 5.30pm throughout the week.
