Day 1
Begins in one of the UK’s most famous cities – the exquisite Bath. Home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Roman Baths, Bath is bursting at the seams with history and beauty in equal measure. Having once been home to one of the most famous writers in the world, Jane Austen, Bath has much to see and discover and you’ll have the chance to do just that!

Enjoy a tour of the glorious Roman Baths following in the footsteps of the Romans who built these baths more than 2,000 years ago. As the only official hot springs in the country, the Roman Baths draw in visitors from across the globe year after year. On this special tour, you’ll get to come up close to the Baths and venture inside the Pump Rooms where you can even taste a sip of the waters!
If all this exploring has set your taste buds tingling, grab some lunch at Number 15 on Great Pulteney Street. Lined with neoclassical houses and idyllic eateries, Number 15 is a hidden treasure with a bar, restaurant and rooms boasting contemporary modern art.

Your afternoon in Bath could be taken up with a visit to the land of time and space – the Herschel Museum of Astronomy on New King Street. You’ll get to discover and explore William Herschel’s house where he discovered Uranus with a self-designed telescope in 1781!

If you want to try out a tipple or two, head to the Bath Gin Company for a distillery Tour with scrumptious gin tasting. Here, you’ll get to try out various different delicious gins as well as learning about its fine history as you revel in the tastes.

If you want to immerse yourself in Bath’s literature history, head to the Jane Austen Centre where you can learn where the famous English writer once lived and wrote some of her most well-known novels.

Day 2
Enjoy a full day at Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar Gorge and there’s no need to rush, you’ll get to relax with an overnight stay here. Here, you’ll get to visit the largest gorge in Britain and the origin of Bath’s world-famous thermal waters! Get snap happy as you enjoy the ancient rock formations and soak in some of the most picturesque sighs in the UK. In Glastonbury, discover the Druids and their place in history, wander through the glorious town with its independent boutiques and scrumptious eateries and visit Glastonbury Abbey.

Day 3
Your adventure ends here but we’re sure you’ll have memories in abundance! The train will leave from Bath station at 12.06 and arrive back in London Paddington at 1.45pm!
