Description
Day 1
Start your day off in style with a morning private transfer from St Pancras Station to the quintessentially British city of Cambridge. Check into your idyllic hotel but don’t get too comfortable; you have a fascinating walking tour of the city to waiting to enjoy!

Wear some good walking shoes as you’re led by an expert guide through the gorgeous streets of Cambridge, learning and discovering more about this historic city. Explore Trinity College, University of Cambridge where the iconic figure of Isaac Newton once frequented in the 17th century.

Have the chance to come up close to the world-famous Corpus Clock that sits outside the Taylor Library at Corpus Christi College. And who might have passed this clock you ask? None other than one of the most influential people the world has ever known, Professor Stephen Hawking. Not only did he study here, it’s where he researched and published his most famous work “A Brief History of Time”. During the tour, you’ll be able to access a number of our portals, which are located at Trinity College Dining Hall, Wren Library, Gonville and Caius and King’s College Rooftop at King’s College.

Settle down to a scrumptious lunch at the Garden Kitchen at Kettle’s Yard as you prepare yourself for an afternoon jam-packed with more Cambridge adventures!
After you’ve devoured your lunch, you’ll get to visit the beautiful art gallery house, home to the distinctive collection of 20th century art – an unmissable treat.

During the afternoon, you’ll get to enjoy a wonderful punting experience on the picturesque River Cam! This punting tour along the very heart of Cambridge will provide you with stunning views of Cambridge’s riverside colleges and glorious gardens that you won’t go forgetting in a hurry.

If it’s wet and rainy outside, don’t worry. We have a fantastic wet weather alternative at Fitzwilliam Museum, one of the most famous museums in the UK. You’ll get to explore the treasure trove of artwork on display including sculptures, furniture, ceramics, silver, armour, coins, music and illuminated manuscripts, as well as antiquities from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and Cyprus.

You’ll end your day with a gorgeous dinner at the famous Eagle Pub. Unbeknownst to some, the Eagle Pub was where DNA was discovered! Be part of its rich history throughout the years and discover more as you settle down to something scrumptious. Once frequented by airmen during World War II and the location where Crick and Watson revealed the mysteries of creation to the world, this is a pub with a historic twist.

Day 2
On the second day of your Time Traveller’s Tour, you’ll get to explore the picturesque Suffolk Villages. With the backdrop of the glorious British countryside, your visit to some of the most idyllic villages will be an unforgettable experience. Walk the quaint streets, visit the delicious eateries and shop in the independent boutiques for something extra special.
