Day 1
Your adventures will start when you board the train from London’s Paddington Station for your GWR Night Riviera Sleeper Service to the idyllic city of Truro. This lovely overnight ride is like a bedroom on wheels as you settle down for a comfortable night sleep on your way to your first destination!

Begin your exploration in the beautiful Truro in Cornwall and there’s no better way to put your stamp on the new day than with a scrumptious breakfast on the beach. With the backdrop of the glorious Cornish coast, it’s the perfect way to start a day of adventures.

Immerse yourself in Cornwall’s culture and history with a trip to the Royal Cornwall Museum which offers a fascinating insight into the county’s past and present. Discover the permanent exhibition of Ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian objects before venturing through the exquisite gallery of fine arts.

Next stop could be to the delightful Truro Cathedral. Built in the 20th century, it’s one of the last cathedrals to be built in England and is home to one of the finest instruments in the country, the Father Willis Organ.

When you’ve worked up an appetite with all this exploring, why not try out a traditional Cornish Pasty at the much-loved Portreath Bakery to really see what the big deal is about these fine pastry delicacies!

Day 2
Visit the historic Tintagel Castle and explore the history and myths of Cornwall’s rich fortress. Linked with the legend of King Arthur, this sensational castle has featured in many works by famous writers and artists and there’s no guessing as to why when you come face to face with its dominating presence! Or alternatively, visit St Mawes and Pendennis Castle - Ten miles south of Truro are Pendennis and St Mawes Castles, spectacularly situated coastal bastions designed to defend the country that Henry VIII set against his enemies in mainland Europe, almost five hundred years ago.

Day 3
Your Western Wonders Tour has come to an end but there’s no need to worry about transport with return transportation already booked from Truro back to London’s Paddington Station
