Cheddar Gorge is the largest gorge in Britain and area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This is where the thermal waters of Bath originate from and you’ll get to enjoy time for photos and to view the majestic rock formations. Don’t forget to look out for the ancient Soay sheep here! Next stop will be Glastonbury. Learn about the Druids, the links with King Arthur and the birthplace of Christianity in England. Wander through this old market town, a honey pot for interesting and unique shops. Explore the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey* - said to be the resting place of King Arthur and Lady Guinevere. Climb up the Tor to the remains of the 14th century church . Alternatively visit the peaceful Chalice well gardens*. Try the healing waters from the Springs and taste Somerset’s famous Cheddar cheese and local cider. The last stop will be to Wells, the smallest city in England.

Savour the beauty of Wells cathedral – stunning views across the green – a great place to relax.

Don’t miss the medieval clock which is one of the oldest in Europe and a chance to visit the moated Bishops palace – the café here is a lovely place for lunch.
